NMIHACM MA Admission 2020 – National Museum Institute of the History of Art, Conservation and Museology New Delhi invites applications in the prescribed format for admission to MA Program offered in various streams for the academic session starting from September 2020.

Eligibility Criteria for NMIHACM MA Admission 2020

M.A. (History of Art)

A Graduate Degree from a recognized University. Good academic record with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade at the graduate level.

M.A. (Conservation)

A graduate degree from a recognized university in any of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology or Visual/Fine Arts or Architecture, Engineering and Technology with minimum 50% marks.

A graduate degree from a recognized university in any of the following subjects: History, Geography, Anthropology, Archaeology, or related disciplines with minimum 50% marks and 10+2 / Senior Secondary / Intermediate level education in science stream.

M.A. (Museology)

A graduate degree from a recognized university in any of the following subjects: Arts, Science, Social Science and Humanities with a minimum of 50% marks.

Eligibility for in Services Personnel

  • In-service personnel working with Central Government / State Government / Autonomous organization / Universities funded by Central or State Government / NGOs (in that order) with at least 5 years regular service, having the above-required qualification, will also be eligible to apply.

NMIHACM MA Admission 2020 Application Process

  • Applications on the prescribed form can be downloaded from Institute’s website www.nmi.gov.in
  • Application form duly supported by self‐attested copies of testimonials (age proof and educational qualifications) and completed in all respects, may be emailed to the Assistant Registrar within twenty days from the publication of admission notice ([email protected]). Applications received after the last date will not be considered.
  • Those interested in applying in more than one course, need to send separate applications along with testimonials for each course.

Admission Procedure

  • List of shortlisted candidates and the date of online written test of one hour’s duration will be notified on the website separately. A list of the candidates, who obtain at least 50% marks in the written exam, will be uploaded on the Institute website for personal interaction through Zoom/ Google Meet.
