MBA (Agri Business) Admission 2012-14

The Institute of Agri Business Management (IABM) is a constituent unit of SK Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner estd in 2000 with the assistance of the world bank

The institute awards two year full time MBA (Agri Business) degree especially designed to develop young men and women into competent professional managers for addressing the challenges in agribusiness and allied sectors

Eligibility: Indian nationals below 30 years of age and possessing bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Allied fields (Horticulture/Vet and Animal Science/Dairy Science/ Dairy Technology /Food Science /Food Technology /Agricultural Engineering /Agro Forestry /Home Science / Fisheries, etc) from any agricultural university or institution recognized by ICAR with a minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) are eligible to apply for the programme

Final year graduating students, expecting to complete all degree requirements before 15th July, 2013 can also apply

Seats: The intake capacity is 30 seats (regular 25 and 5 payment)

Seats for different categories are reserved as per the reservation policy followed by the university

Foreign students may be considered for admission on the basis of nomination from ICAR/ Govt of India on supernumerary seats (02)

Admission Procedure: The admission to the MBA (Agri Business) programme will be done on the basis of the CAT-2012 to be conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs)

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT score will be considered for admission as per the eligibility criteria set up by the institute

Candidates aspiring to join the programme will be required to submit the application form online available at website www.iabmbikaner.org

Application Submission: The hard copy of completed application form along with demand draft of Rs 1000/- in favour of Director, IABM, SKRAU, Bikaner, payable at any nationalized bank in Bikaner be sent to Director, Institute of Agri Business Management, SK Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner-334006

Institute of Agri Business Management, Bikaner uses CAT for short listing the candidates

IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme
