Schedule for Acceptance of Application Forms for Admission to 1st Year of Post Graduate Engineering/Technology (M.E./M.Tech.) & Post Graduate Pharmacy (M.Pharm.) Courses: Academic Year 2012-2013

Disciplines: Civil Engg, Chemical Engg., Environment Engg, Mechanical Engg., Metallurgy Engg. & Mechatronics Engg., Electronics & Communication, Networking, Communication & Web Technology & Textile Engg., Electrical Engg.,Instrumentation & Control and Bio-medical Engg., Computer Engg. & Information Tech., Pharmacy (M. Pharm.)

Eligibility: The candidate shall have passed B.E./B.Tech./B.Pharmacy or equivalent examination with 50% (45% for SC/ST/SEBC candidates) at the final year exam of qualifying exam for seeking admission into post Graduate disciplines and its specialisations.

The candidates whose final year results are awaited, shall have to pass qualifying examination with 50% (45% for SC/ST/SEBC candidates) in final year exam and submit the final year marksheet latest by 12th June, 2012.

Application Procedure: Application form and Information for admission to P.G. Courses of Engineering/Technology & Pharmacy can be downloaded from website www.jacpcldce.ac.in of this committee.

Duly filled application form including acknowledgement slip along with necessary testimonials, documents will be accepted discipline wise personally only between 27th June, 2012 and 5th July, 2012 (except Sundays) during 11-00 AM to 5-00 PM at the Admission Committee Building, L.D. College of Engineering Campus, Ahmedabad-380015 as per following schedule.

Before submitting Application Form, an application fee of Rs. 1,000/- (non-refundable) per discipline has to be paid in cash only at designated branches of Punjab National Bank between 27th June, 2012 and 5th July, 2012 (except Sundays) during 10-00 AM to 4-00 PM (10-00 am to 1-00 pm on Saturdays).

Electronics & Communication, Networking, Communication & Web Technology & Textile Engg. - 29th June, 2012

Electrical Engg.,Instrumentation & Control and Bio-medical Engg. only - 30th June, 2012

Computer Engg. & Information Tech. and for Candidates, Who missed the above Schedule of Engineering - 2nd July, 2012

Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) Only – 3rd July, 2012 to 5th July, 2012

Notes: The application forms received by Post or Courier shall not be considered for admission.

In case of a candidate applying without being eligible, his/ her application will be summarily rejected and his/her application fee will be forfeited. No correspondence will be entertained in this matter.

Both GATE/GPAT qualified candidates and Non GATE/Non-GPAT candidates shall have to submit the application.

After admitting GATE/GPAT qualified candidates having valid GATE/ GPAT qualifying marks, the vacant seats, if any will be filled as per merit secured in CET-2012.

The CET-2012 shall be conducted from 7th July 2012 to 9th July 2012. The CET-2012 schedule and other details are available on website.

All Non GATE/Non-GPAT candidates including sponsored (Non GATE/Non-GPAT) will have to qualify CET-2012.

The sponsored seat shall be filled as per Govt. of Gujarat Post Graduate Admission Rules and AICTE Guidelines.

No separate call letter will be issued for appearing in Test/ Counseling.

The candidates are advised to read carefully important instructions before filling and submitting the application form.
