SNAP 2023 Notification– Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune invites application for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2023, a National-Level Mgt. Entrance Test for admission to various Post Graduate Programs (MBA) for the academic year 2023-24 offered at its 16 Institute.

 

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2023

 

Overview

  • A candidate aspiring to join an MBA programme offered by any Institute of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU] has to take the common, mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Computer Based Test (CBT) which will be conducted at Test Centers.
  • The candidate needs to :
    • Register for SNAP Test,
    • Pay the registration fee for SNAP Test,
    • Register for her/his choice of programme(s) offered by various Institutes of SIU,
    • Pay the registration fee, separately for each programme.
  • If shortlisted for a programme applied to, the candidate would then need to participate in the further admission process (GE-PIWAT) of that particular programme.
  • The registration process (including the payment of the registration fee) for SNAP and Institutes is integrated. A candidate can complete the SNAP as well as programme registration and payment on the same portal (snaptest.org).

SNAP 2023 Eligibility Criteria

SIMS – Master of Business Administration

  • Candidates should be a graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade at graduation.
  • Defense Category candidates should be the son/ daughter/ spouse of Defence personnel.
  • Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
  • A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SIOM, Nashik – Master of Business Administration (Operations Management)

  • Candidates should be an Engineering Graduate (Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology) from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes) at graduation.
  • Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
  • A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SCIT – Master of Business Administration (Data Sciences & Data Analytics)

  • Candidates should graduate with Mathematics at 10+2 level from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes) at graduation.
  • Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
  • A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SIBM, Bengaluru – MBA (Quantitative Finance)

  • Candidates should graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes) at graduation level. The students must have studied Mathematics/ Statistics during Standard XII.
  • Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
  • A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

How to Apply for SNAP 2023  – Registration Process

  • A candidate can appear for upto three tests for SNAP 2023.
  • Register online on the website snaptest.org
  • Note – Any change in the online registration form (except name, date of birth, category, test city preferences and test date) will be entertained only up to November 23, 2023. No change shall be permitted after this date under any circumstances.
  • Ensure that the information you have filled is accurate.
  • *No change in name, date of birth, category, test city and test date requests will be entertained once a candidate has paid her/his SNAP Test 2023 registration fee.
  • Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photo at the time of online registration for the SNAP Test. (Your photograph should not be more than three months old).

 

Registration Fee

  • SNAP Test registration fee of Rs.2250/- per test
  • Mode of Payment : Bill desk Payment Gateway/Indian Bank Payment Gateway/Demand Draft.

 

Shortlisting and Selection Process

  • Shortlisting for Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (GE-PIWAT):
  • A candidate will be shortlisted for further admission process (GE-PIWAT) based on her/his overall SNAP Percentile. Please check the respective Institute website for information and dates of GE-PIWAT.
  • The further admission process is conducted separately for each programme by each Institute. The cut-off for shortlisting is also calculated separately for each programme. Based on her/his overall SNAP percentile, a particular candidate may get shortlisted for more than one programme. In such a scenario the candidate is expected to participate in the GE-PIWAT for each programme separately.
  • Merit list will be based on the following parameters:
  • Weightage for Final Merit List
  • SNAP Score (out of 60, scaled down to 50 marks) : 50
    • Group Exercise (GE) :  10 
    • Personal Interaction(PI) : 30
    • Writing Ability Test (WAT) :  10

 

 

SNAP 2023 Test Structure

  • The following will be the exam pattern for SNAP 2023
  • A candidate can appear for up to three tests for SNAP.
  • SNAP Test 2023 will be a computer-based test.
  • SNAP Test duration is 60 minutes.
  • SNAP Test is an objective test. Each question has four responses Candidate should choose an appropriate response. 
  • Marks Per Correct Answer – One mark
  • Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks.

  • Analytical & Logical Reasoning : 25 Questions
  • Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency : 20 Questions
