Monad University PhD Admission 2023 – The Monad University Hapur invites applications for Admission to its PhD Program (full-time and Part-time)  offered in various subjects/ disciplines for the year 2023-24 through entrance Test

Shortlisted candidates will be called for “Entrance Test and interview” or “interview” by the Selection Committees of the respective departments from time to time

Important Dates

  • Last Date of Submission of Application Form: 17th July 2023
  • Date of Written Exam and Interview: 23rd & 25th July 2023

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Master’s degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency.
  • A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.

Document Required

  • Details of Academics Record (10th, 12th, UG, PG and others & file size should be max 2 mb*)
  • Upload Photo (passport size, max 1 mb*)
  • In case you qualified or have valid score for a competitive examination like GATE, GPAT, UGC-NET, SLET, JRF, SRF etc, give the details (Name of Examination, Percentile, Year, Validity Period , All India Rank )
  • In case you have successfully qualified M.Phil (regulations) from any recognized university / Institute, give the details:

Selection Procedure

  • Admission is generally offered on the basis of an interview, which is supplemented by a written test if necessary. The Institute will invite a limited number of candidates for a written test and interview based on the academic records, statement of purpose, etc.
  • The final selection will be mainly based on academic credentials, written tests, and/or interviews.
  • The written test is generally based on the topics related to general aptitude (logical reasoning, analytical and numerical ability, etc.), writing skills, and basic courses of various disciplines at the undergraduate level.

 

Entrance Exam Syllabus

  • The entrance test will cover questions on general knowledge, aptitude, and the concerned subject /discipline in which admission is sought.
