Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates for admission to the PhD Programme shall have a Master’s Degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s Degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC-7 point scale.
  • A relaxation of 5% of marks may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories of candidates.

 

Application Process

  • Candidates can apply online through the official website https://shekhauni.ac.in/
  • Candidates can pay the application fees either through online mode. Candidates will have to fill in the required details correctly and upload the following documents:
  • Recent Colored photograph
  • Signature
  • X & XII mark sheet
  • Graduation & Post-Graduation Marksheets & Certificates
  • Any other relevant degree certificate
  • Online payment gateway challan of PDUSU from the given link
  • Original and attested copies of 10th class, 12th class, graduation and post graduation degree mark sheet. (University will return the original copies of the mark sheets and certificates within a month of enrollment)
  • One copy of photo id proof issued by any central/state government organization

 

Selection Criteria

  • Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University shall admit Ph.D. students through an Entrance Test Conducted by it. The University may decide separate terms & conditions for Ph.D. Entrance Test for those students who qualify UGC-NET (including JRF) / UGC-CSIR, NET, SLET, GATE and have passed M.Phil. programme. Documents required at the time of Personal Interview.

    4. Migration Certificate
    5. Identity proof (for example Aadhar, PAN)
    6. Passport-size photographs
    7. Caste certificates

Scheme of Test

  • The examination will consist of two papers, conducted in a single session. Paper-I consisting of 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) – One mark of each question and Paper-II consisting of 50 Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) – One Mark of each question
  • There will be no negative marking
