Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have completed PG/M.Phil program with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed or equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit or assure quality and standards of the educational institution.
- A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, EWS and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the UGC from time to time.

- The change of exam center for the Ph.D. entrance will not be entertained. While applying for Ph.D. programmes, the candidates shall be required to upload the scanned copy of their document/certificates.
- The candidates are requested to visit the website from time to time for any updates regarding the Ph.D. entrance test, Exam Centers and related information.
- Individual communication will not be entertained.
Application Fee
- An Application fee (non-refundable) for General / EWS and OBC will be Rs.500/- and for SC/ST/PWD Rs.200/-
Entrance Test
- Entrance test will consist of 60 MCQ’s.
- 30 MCQs from Research Methodology [PG Level syllabus] and 30 MCQs from concerned subject [UGC NET syllabus]
- Duration of the exam is 90 minutes
Fellowship Details (Non-JRF)
- For full-time scholars (Non-JRF scholars) monthly institute fellowship of Rs.13000/- and contingency amount of Rs.24000/-per annum will be provided for three years
