Eligibility Criteria

 

Group A

  • M.Ed. 2 Years (4 Semester) : B.Ed./B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc-B.Ed./ B.Com.-B.Ed./ B.El.Ed./D.El.Ed. with Undergraduate with 50% (45% for SC and ST) from a recognized institution.
  • M.P.Ed. 2 Years (4 Semester) : B.P.Ed with 50% (45% for SC & ST) from a recognized institute. Or Graduation in Physical Education with 50% (SC & ST 45%) from a recognized Institute
  • M.Lib. 1 Years (2 Semester) : B.lib with 50% (SC & ST 45%) from a recognized institute
  • LLM 2 Year (4 Semester) : Law Graduation with 45% with Biology or Mathematics from a recognized institute 
  • B.P.Ed 2 Years (4 Semester) : Graduation with 45% (SC & ST 40%) with Physical Education from a recognized Institute

 

Group B

  • MCA 2 Years (4 Semester) : BCA/Graduation with Computer Science /Computer Application or equivalent with 50% (SC & ST 45%) from a recognized institute
  • M.Sc. (Ag.) Horticulture 2 Years (4 Semester) : B.Sc.-(Ag) with 50% (SC & ST 45%) from a recognized institute
  • M.Sc. (Ag.) Agronomy 2 Years (4 Semester) : B.Sc.-(Ag) with 50% (SC & ST 45%) from a recognized institute
  • M.Sc. (Ag.) Soil Science 2 Years (4 Semester) : B.Sc.-(Ag) with 50% (SC & ST 45%) from a recognized institute
  • M.Sc. (Ag.) Genetics and Plant Breeding 2 Years (4 Semester) : B.Sc.-(Ag) with 50% (SC & ST 45%) from a recognized institute
  • M.Sc. (Ag.) Economics 2 Years (4 Semester) : B.Sc.-(Ag) with 50% (SC & ST 45%) from a recognized institute
  • M.Sc. (Ag.) Extension 2 Years (4 Semester) : B.Sc.-(Ag) with 50% (SC & ST 45%) from a recognized institute

 

Group C

  • BBA 3 Years : 12th in any stream with 50% (SC & ST 45%) from a recognized Institute
  • BA-LLB (Honors)/ BA-LLB 5 Years (10 Semester) : 10+2 in any stream with 45% marks (42% for OBC and 40% in case of SC and ST category) from a recognized institution.
  • B.Lib. 1 Years (2 Semester) : 12th in any stream with 50% (SC & ST 45%) from a recognized Institute

 

Group D

  • BCA 3 Years (6 Semester) : 12th with 50% (45% for SC and ST) with Mathematics / Statistics / Information Technology / Computer Science / Information Science as one of the subjects from a recognized Institute. 
  • B. Pharm. 4 Years (8 Semester) : 10+2 with 50% (45% for SC and ST) English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually from a recognized Institute
  • B.Sc. (Ag.) Honors 4 Years (8 Semester) : 10+2 with Agriculture or Science Group with 50% (45% for SC and ST) from a recognized Institute.
  • B.Sc. Biotech 3 Year (6 Semester) : 10+2 with 50% (45% for SC and ST) with Biology or Mathematics from a recognized institute 
  • Integrated M.Tech. (B.tech+M.tech)- AI & Data Science 5 Year (10 Semester) : 10+2 with 50% (45% for SC and ST) in Science Stream with Mathematics from a recognized institute.

 

Application Process

  • Candidates can apply to appear in CET-2024 through submitting an Online Application on Admission 2024 link available at official website of the university www.prsuniv.ac.in .
  • The candidate may select multiple groups and multiple programmes in a single registration if eligible.
  • The candidate is advised to apply for admission only if he/she fulfills the eligibility requirements. The onus of checking appropriate eligibility lies with the candidate. Candidates must read and understand the details given in the guidelines available on the web site www.prsuniv.ac.in carefully before filling in the application form.

 

Application Fee 

  • For Unreserved and OBC : Rs. 1200/-
  • For SC, ST, EWS & Differently Abled category : Rs. 800/- 
  • Mode of Payment : Online through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. 

 

Exam Pattern

  • The Test paper will have multiple-choice questions. There will be a separate test paper for each Group A, B, C and D.
  • The Test paper for Group A shall include 100 questions in all. Duration of the test will be of 120 minutes. The questions will be from Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Reasoning, English Language Comprehension and General Awareness.
  • The Test paper for Group B shall include a total of 100 questions of which 10 questions will be from English Language Comprehension and 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. Duration of the test will be 120 minutes.
  • The Test paper for Group C shall include 100 questions in all. Duration of the test will be of 120 minutes. The questions will be from Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Reasoning, English Language Comprehension and General Awareness.
  • The Test paper for Group D shall include a total 100 questions of which 10 questions will be from English Language Comprehension and 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. Duration of the test will be 120 minutes.
  • Note: In the Test for Group B and D, choice to candidate will be as follows:
    • M.Sc./B.Sc. (Ag)/ B. Pharm.: English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology
    • MCA/ BCA.: English, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry
    • [Students who do not opt for Mathematics will not be considered for MCA/ BCA/M.Tech.]
  • NEGATIVE MARKING IN CET: There will be no negative marking.
  • Date and Timings of Entrance Test: The date of entrance test will be communicated to candidates through the official website of the university. The candidates are advised to visit the University website regularly for further details.

 

Test Centers

  • The entrance test will be held at different centres of PRAYAGRAJ. Time and venue of test will be given along with the admit card. The University reserves the right to withdraw and allocate another center.
