Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates for admission to Postgraduate programs in Allied Health Sciences must possess any one of the following from a UGC recognized University.

For M.Sc Cardiovascular Perfusion Technology

  • Candidates should possess B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences with specialization in cardiovascular perfusion technology or cardio vascular technology / B.Sc perfusion technology / B.Sc Cardiac technology.

For M.Sc Medical Imaging Technology

  • Candidates should possess B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences with specialization in medical imaging technology or medical radiology technology / B.Sc Radiography technology / B.Sc Radiology technology / B.Sc Medical imaging technology .

For M.Sc Medical Lab Technology

  • Candidate having a degree in B.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), B.Sc., Biochemistry, B.Sc. Microbiology., & B.Sc. Chemistry ( with ancillary subjects of biochemistry and Microbiology)

For M.Sc Neuro Electrophysiology

  • Candidates should possess B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences with specialization in Neuroscience or Neuro electrophysiology / B.Sc Neuroscience / B.Sc Neuroelectrophysiology.

For M.Sc Renal Sciences and Dialysis Technology

  • Candidates should possess B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences with specialization in dialysis technology or renal dialysis technology/ B.Sc Dialysis Technology/ B.Sc Renal Dialysis technology.

For M.Sc Trauma Care Management (TCM)

  • Candidates having a degree in B.Sc Trauma Care Management (TCM) / Emergency and Trauma Care Technology (ETCT) /Accident and Emergency Care Technology(AECT) / Critical Care Technology (CCT).

For Master of Optometry

  • Candidates should possess B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences with specialization in Optometry/ B. Optom/ B.Sc. Clinical Optometry/ B.Sc. Optometry

For M.Sc. Critical Care Technology

  • Candidates should possess B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences with specialization in Critical Care Technology/ B.Sc. Trauma Care Management Technology/ B.Sc. Cardiovascular Technology/B.Sc. Cardiovascular Perfusion Technology / B.Sc. Dialysis Technology / B.Sc. Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology with the minimum of 50% aggregate mark in B.Sc. Degree

For M.Sc. Echocardiography & Cardiovascular Imaging Technology

  • Candidates should possess B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences with specialization in Cardiovascular Technology/ Critical care technology/ Cardiovascular perfusion technology/Physician assistant/ Respiratory technology/ Radiology and Imaging science technology/Operation Theater and Anesthesia Technology

For M.Sc Operation Theater and Anesthesia Technology

  • Candidates should possess B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences with specialization in Operation Theater and Anesthesia Technology. Anesthesia Technology, Operation Theater Technology, CSSD and Surgical Technology, Surgical Technology, Critical Care Technology or any other qualification equivalent to Operation Theater and Anesthesia Technology.

For M.Sc. Respiratory Therapy

  • Candidates should possess B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences with specialization in Respiratory therapy / Critical Care technology

For M.Sc. Clinical Psychology

  • Candidates should possess undergraduate program in Psychology (B.A./ B.Sc.)., any undergraduate program in Social Science (Sociology, Economics, Liberal Arts etc.) or paramedical field (Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Allied Health Sciences etc.) which had at least one non- major elective paper in psychology.

 

Application Process

  • The application and Prospectus for Post graduate AHS program will be issued from the University office from 01.04.2021 onwards.
  • Applications can be obtained on payment of Rs.1200/- D.D. taken in favour of “Saveetha College of Allied Health Sciences”, payable at Chennai in person. Application is also available on the website www.scahs.saveetha.com
  • Completed application form along with attested photocopies of the UG degree certificate and mark sheets from first year to final year should reach ‘Office of Admission’, Saveetha college of AHS, Saveetha Nagar, Thandalam, Chennai 602 105 on or before 30.08.2022.

 

Admission Procedure

  • The admission for Post graduate AHS Program courses is based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the Undergraduate Qualifying Examination and the performance in the Interview. The interview will be held on 16 to 20 August 2022 at Saveetha College of AHS, Saveetha Nagar, Thandalam, Chennai – 602 105.
