Tara Nirula
Tara Nirula was a resident at International Students House from 2004 to 2007 whilst studying at London College of Fashion. She an exceptional young woman whose vitality lit up International Students House and whose kindness touched everyone. All who came into contact with her loved her and their lives were enriched by knowing her. Tara was an amazing person who never failed to make people smile and every moment spent with her was an enjoyable one. Her enthusiasm for life and her kindness will always remain. Tara’s life was sadly cut short in 2008 but her passion for the arts survives through the opportunity this scholarship gives to future talented individuals studying at London College of Fashion.
International Students House (ISH)
ISH is an extraordinary place for international students who are studying in London. It offers a culturally diverse environment where students from all over the world come to live together, share each others cultural experiences and enjoy a full programme of social and recreational activities that the House has to offer. ISH’s goal is to promote global friendship, trust and education for all and their scholarship programme provides talented students an opportunity to study in London where ordinarily they would not have the resources to do so.
Requirements of Scholarship Holders
The successful candidate must bring their award letter with them to enrolment to show that their fees are being paid via the Scholarship. Tuition fees will not be paid to the student directly.
The successful candidate must enrol on their programme in the same academic year for which they have applied for funding. If the candidate is unable to do this for any reason, the scholarship will be withdrawn.

Award holders are expected to attend a small number of College and University events where scholarship support to potential donors will be promoted. Such events may occur during and/or after completion of the award holder’s course.
Award holders will be expected to donate up to 10 hours per month of service to ISH in some way.
The University will terminate the award if registration lapses on any grounds, other than temporary suspension of study due to extenuating circumstances.
