Result of FMGE 2019 June session announced by NBE
FMGE 2019 Result for June session announced – The results of Foreign Medical Graduate Exam for the June 2019 session are announced. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) declared the results through a PDF file on Wednesday July 31, 2019. The file mentions a student’s Roll No, Qualifying status and total marks obtained. The maximum marks for this exam was 300.

A panel of Faculty Members had reviewed the questions asked in this exam. They found that two questions out of 300 were incorrect. Those candidates who had attempted these questions were awarded grace marks.
Those candidates who have scored 150 marks or higher in this examination are considered qualified. Out of 13, 364 candidates who appeared for this exam, only 2767 candidates qualified for the exam. Due to unavailability of the required documents, NBE has withheld the results of 1161 medical graduates.
The FMGE is a Computer based test which had taken place on June 28, 2019. It is essential to take the FMGE exam for the candidates who are Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) with foreign medical qualifications and who wish to register themselves with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council (SMC). Without qualifying the exam such candidates will not be allowed to practice medicine in India.
Steps to check the FMGE 2019 June Results
- Visit the website www.natboard.edu.in
- Click the link which states ‘Result of FMGE (June session) 2019.’
- Since the result is in PDF format, the file will get downloaded.
- Type your Roll No in the Search option. If it is there, it means you have qualified this exam.
- Download and take a print out for further reference.
It should be noted that NBE will allow only those candidates to download their scorecards who have qualified it. It will be available from August 7, 2019. The candidates will be able to download it by login using their Roll No and password.
