As educational institutions in India have been shut from March this year due to Covid-19 outbreak and it is yet to be seen for how long it is going to impact the school curriculum and examination. Keep all this in view, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to review the next cycles of JEE Main and the NEET 2021 exam only after the schools and colleges reopens.
As per the reports by various news media, the HRD official has informed that NTA would be taking a call depending on the situation prevailing after the schools reopen. The agency would be taking into consideration the Board exams especially of CBSE whether Board Exam 2021 can be conducted in February.”
JEE Main has been conducted twice in a year (January and April) by NTA from 2019. The January cycle of JEE Main 2020 was conducted successfully but the exam for April 2020 is yet to be conducted.
NEET and JEE Main 2020 (April) Exams have been postponed twice and will now be conducted in September 2020.
