NMIMS NPAT 2019 – NMIMS – NPAT 2019 (Admission test for NMIMS Programs After 12th) is the official entrance test for admissions to Undergraduate and Integrated Degree Programs for Academic session 2019-20 being offered by constituent schools of SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (Deemed to be University Under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956) at Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Indore and Dhule Campuses.

Eligibility Criteria for NMIMS NPAT 2019

  • To be eligible to apply for the NMIMS NPAT 2019, applicant must have passed in class 12 or equivalent examination. The 10+2 exam must have been cleared in first attempt from any recognized board.
  • The maximum age limit to be eligible for the admission in courses is 25.

B.Tech. & MBA. (Tech) / MBA Pharma Tech (B.Pharm + MBA):

  • Applicant must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent exam including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate or / & DP awarded are not eligible) with English as compulsory subject
  • The applicant must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent exam including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate/ & D.P. awarded are not eligible)
  • Science or science vocational & minimum 50% marks in PCM for Mumbai campus & 45% marks in PCM for Shirpur Campus
  • Those awaiting their 10+2 or equivalent examination result this year may also apply. Science or science vocational with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB)
  • Applicant with IB Diploma is eligible only if he/she has offered Mathematics at higher level (HL) or Applicants passing Diploma Engineering with Minimum 50% is eligible to apply. English as compulsory subject; Minimum 50% marks in (PCM / PCB)

B.Sc. Economics / B.Sc. Finance / B.Com (Hons.) / B.B.A:

  • The applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate / & D.P. awarded applicants are not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board in the first attempt and should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks
  • The Applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Certificate / & D.P. Awarded applicants are not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board at first attempt; and
  • The applicant must have passed in Mathematics / Statistics at 10+2 or equivalent exam
  • Must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks at 10+2 or equivalent examfor being eligible to B.Com. (Hons.) program & 60% aggregate marks for being eligible to B.B.A. & B.Sc. (Finance) Program
  • Applicant’s passing in Mathematics/ Statistics at 10+2 or equivalent exam is compulsory for being eligible to BBA/B.Com (Hons) / B.Sc (Finance)
  • Applicant with IB Diploma applying for B.B.A / B.Sc. (Finance) program is eligible only if he/she has offered & passed in Mathematics/ Statistics at Standard level
  • For IB applicant, the student must have Standard Level (SL) Mathematics / Statistics to be eligible for the program. Applicant with IB Diploma applying for B.B.A / B.Sc. (Finance) program is eligible only if he/she has offered & passed in Mathematics/ Statistics at Standard level

B.Des:

  • The applicant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate / & D.P. awarded applicants are not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board in the first attempt and should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks
  • Applicants of CBSE, ICSE, should mention in the online registration / e-admission form (if selected) for 10+2 or equivalent examination, the aggregate marks of all the subjects the applicant has taken/opted and appeared for (not best of four, five, six or seven)
  • Applicants passing 10+2 or equivalent exam from Open or Distance learning (ODL) school recognized only by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) can apply for the program subject to fulfilling the eligibility of the program & applicants who have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam by doing part-time course or through distance learning/correspondence/externally/open school other than NIOS are NOT eligible to apply

 

Selection Process

  • All eligible applicants who wish to apply for admission into various courses will be required to appear for online Test to be conducted at various locations in India
  • Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the applicant in NPAT.
  • Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in NPAT 2019 & preference of campus given in online registration form.
  • Applicants are required for admission process in person.
  • In the counseling session applicants will be given admission to various disciplines as per their merit, choice and availability of discipline as per eligibility criteria.
  • The Merit list will be put up on the NMIMS website as per important dates. The decision of the institute will be final in this regard and no inquiries or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

NMIMS NPAT 2019 Exam Pattern

For Engineering Programs

  • Changes in Test Structure of MPSTME according to New NPAT 2019
  • Engineering aspirants interested to apply for UG programmes (B.Tech. and MBA Tech.) of MPSTME should note that there is a change in test structure from the exiting SAT pattern to PCM.
  • The new changes in MPSTME NPAT 2019 Exam Structure are based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of 10+2 curriculum. Below mentioned are the details:
  • Physics – 30 No. of Questions; 30 Minutes & Total Marks: 30
  • Chemistry – 30 No. of Questions; 30 Minutes & Total Marks: 30
  • Maths – 30 No. of Questions; 30 Minutes & Total Marks: 30
  • Logical Intelligence – 20 No. of Questions; 20 Minutes & Total Marks: 20
  • Language Proficiency – 10 No. of Questions; 10 Minutes & Total Marks: 10
  • Admissions from NPAT 2019 include B.Tech. Undergraduate Degree Programs and MBA Tech. (B.Tech. + MBA Tech.) programs in MPSTME at their Mumbai, Shirpur, Navi Mumbai and Indore campuses

Paper-I
