Zoology is that branch of science which deals with the study of the animal kingdom. The branch deals with the structure, embryology, evolution, classification, habits, and distribution of all animals, both living and extinct. For someone who is interested in making a career in Zoology will be required to deal with both the existing, dead and quite possible the extinct species of the animal kingdom.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for a Bachelor’s degree for Zoology, the candidate needs to pass the higher secondary education or 10+2 from a recognized board with Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The duration of the bachelor’s course is three years.

In order to be eligible for a Master’s Course in Zoology, the candidate needs to have completed their bachelor’s course with 50 per cent or above. The duration of the Master’s course is two years.
