Eligibility Criteria for Assam University Admission 2020

Courses

Educational Qualifications

For UG Courses

Passed HS or equivalent examinations (10+2) in the relevant streams shall be eligible for admission to Undergraduate/ five year Integrated Courses.

Passed 10+2 examination in Science stream (PCM / PCB) with English from CBSE / HBSE or any other recognized board with minimum 50% aggregate.

For PG Courses

Passed their graduation in a subject shall be eligible for admission to the four semester Post Graduate Course in the respective subjects

Passed Bachelor’s degree in  Science stream (PCM / PCB) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized University.

The candidates who have appeared/ are appearing in TDC final examination 2020 of Assam University or any other recognized university may also apply for admission to PG Courses.

Assam University Admission 2020 Application Process

  • Eligible Candidates can apply online only through the University website http://www.aus.ac.in/
  • Candidates are advised to mention their email ID/Mobile Phone number etc. in the application form. Any of these channels may be used by the concerned departments for communication if necessary.
  • The candidates desire to seek admission to be required to apply on the prescribed form online. Only those applicants, who apply online before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria, will be considered for admission.

For OBC NoN Creamy Layer & EWS Candidates

Rs. 500/-

For SC/ST/PWD Candidates

Rs. 400/-

Admission Procedure

  • Selection of candidates for admission to UG / Integrated program will be made solely on the basis of the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination.
  • The selection procedure for the PG program shall be notified at a later date.
