NTA postponed Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) 2021 again due to COVID-19
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has once again postponed the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) 2021 exam due to the rise in the number of Covi-19 cases. The new exam date is yet to be decided. This is the second time that the exam has been postponed. Initially the exam was scheduled to be held on May 16, which was later postponed to June 15, 2021
The Agency has also extended the registration deadline till May 31, 2021. Earlier the last date for UPCET 2021 registration was May 10, 2021. Candidates can visit the official site of NTA on nta.ac.in to apply. The window to make corrections in the application forms will be open from June 2 to June 6, 2021.
The official notice read, “With a view to remove hardship caused to candidates and to ensure larger participation of candidates, it has been decided to postpone the UPCET- 2021 exam scheduled on 15 June 2021 and also extend the last date for submission of online application forms for the exam.”
The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) has been renamed as Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET). The state-level entrance exam is being held for admission to the professional courses offered by the Government, Government-aided institutions and private-unaided institutions affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) and some other state universities of Uttar Pradesh for the academic session 2021-22.
