North East Hills University (NEHU), Shillong invites applications for admission to B.Ed-SEDE (B.Ed Special Education) Program 2018 through Distance Mode at 9 (Nine) RCI approved Study Centres in the North-Eastern Region
Important Dates
- Last Date of submission of application forms at study centres: 3rd week of April 2018
- Last date of submission of application forms from study centre to centre for distance education, NEHU, Shillong: 28th April, 2014
- Entrance test: 4th week of May, 2018
Course Details
- Duration: Minimum 2 years, maximum 5 years
- Specialization in Disability Area: Visually Impaired (VI), Mentally Retarded (MR), Hearing Impaired (HI)
- Fees: Rs.20000/- (Rs twenty thousand) only

Note: There will be an entrance test for selection of candidates for admission to B.Ed-SEDE
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant should have a Bachelor degree from any UGC recognized University and fulfil any one of the following conditions; be a parent of Differently abled child; be a differently abled person; possess RCI recognized Diploma in Special Education (DSE); have undergone Bridge Course of RCI; have completed the RCI recognized Foundation Course (FC-SEDE)
- Preference will be given to the candidate having a minimum of one year experience in managing and educating person differently abled in a special school environment, after his/her graduation
- Seats remaining vacant, after admission of the above mention categories may be filled with candidates having Bachelor Degree

- Program Guide with application form may be obtained from the following B.Ed (SEDE) Study Centre by paying Rs.600/- through only SBI demand draft/Banker cheque drawn in favour of NEHU, Shillong payable at Shillong
