Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Post-Graduation Degree in any discipline (Preferably from Commerce / Economics / Management subject) from an institute / University recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) / Central Government OR
- Bachelors’ Degree in Law / Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering (Preferably Civil / Electrical / Mechanical); OR
- CA / CS / CWA / CFA / CMA OR Ph.D. from Institutions recognized by GOI/UGC.
- Note: The Candidates appearing in the final year are also eligible to apply, provided they shall be required to submit the final marksheet and provisional / final degree certificate, in original at the time of interview.
Age Limit as on December 14, 2022
- Not below 21 years and not exceeding 28 years.
- (Candidates born not earlier than 14.12.1994 and not later than 15.12.2001 [both days including] are only eligible to apply)
Application Process
- Step 1: Candidates can go to the SIDBI website www.sidbi.in – click on the option “APPLY ONLINE” which will open a new screen.
- Step 2: To register an application, choose the tab, “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
- Step 3: In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing the “SAVE AND NEXT” tab. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT”
- Step 4: Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” BUTTON.
- Step 5: Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the ‘Validate your details’ and ‘Save & Next’ button.
- Step 6: Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature detailed under point “C”.
- Step 7: Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form, Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before “COMPLETE REGISTRATION”.
- Step 8: Click on ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed for payment. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / Master Card / Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen.
- Step 9: Click on ‘Submit ‘ button. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e -Receipt and online Application Form.

Selection Process
- The selection process for the post would be by way of an online examination consisting of objective test as well as a descriptive test followed by a Personal Interview.
- Candidates who qualify based on the minimum cut -off marks decided by SIDBI, would be called for an interview.
Objective Test
- English Language- 30 mcq (20 Minutes)
- General Awareness (With special reference to Banking and Financial Sector and Economic and Social Issues)- 50 mcq (30 Minutes)
- Reasoning Aptitude Objective- 40 mcq (40 Minutes)
- Quantitative Aptitude Objective- 40 mcq (30 Minutes)
- Total : 160 Objective questions
- Total : 200 marks
- Total : 120 Minutes
Descriptive Test
- Online descriptive test: Candidates will be required to answer by typing on computer
- Comprising of two Essays on Financial / Banking / Economic and Social Issues in India (20 Marks each) and one Business Letter Writing (10 Marks) : 3 question (60 minutes)
- Note: It is essential to attempt all three questions.
- Total: 3 Descriptive question
- Total : 50 marks
