Andhra University announces Entrance Exam for Distance Learning MBA and MCA Admission 2020

Andhra University Distance MBA MCA Admission 2020 – Applications are invited for admission into MBA (Marketing/Finance/HRM) both 3-year and 2-year stream and 3-year MBA (Hospital Administration) and MCA Courses through School of Distance Education, Andhra University for the academic year 2020-21

Candidates, who have qualified ICET 2020 are eligible for admission to these courses. However, those who failed to appear for ICET can seek admission now by qualifying in the Entrance Examination to be conducted by SDE.

Eligibility Criteria for Andhra University Distance MBA MCA Admission 2020

Courses

 Educational Qualifications
For 3 Year MBA (Hospital Administration, Marketing Mgmt., Finance Mgmt., Human Resources Management) Any graduate except BFA & BAOL of Andhra University or any other University recognised by Andhra University as equivalent there to, with 50% marks (SC/ST/BC candidates with 45% marks) is eligible
Further, he/she must also have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at SSC/Xth Class/Intermediate level; the candidate, with professional qualification like BE./B.Tech/B.Pharm/Medicine/CA/ICWA/CS/AMIE/AIETE, etc. are also eligible.
For 2 – Year MBA (Marketing Mgmt., Finance Mgmt., Human Resource Mgt.) Any graduate except BFA & BAOL of Andhra University or any other University recognised by Andhra University as equivalent there to, with 50% marks (SC/ST/BC candidates with 45% marks) is eligible
Further, he/she must also have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at SSC/Xth Class/Intermediate level; the candidate, with professional qualification like BE./B.Tech/B.Pharm/Medicine/CA/ICWA/CS/AMIE/AIETE, etc. are also eligible.
Besides the above, the candidates, who have 2 years in – service experience in an organization, after graduation as on 01st July 2020, can seek admission in 2-year MBA course (Marketing/Finance/HRM)
Note Candidates, who qualified in ICET-2020 or the Candidates, who completed 5 years of service after graduation in the respective fields, need not appear for Entrance Exam and can seek admission directly
 

For MCA Program

 Candidates should have passed Bachelor’s degree in any faculty, except BFA and BAOL of Andhra University or any other University recognized by Andhra University as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks (SC/ST/BC candidates with 45% marks) besides passing Intermediate or +2 exam with Maths as one of the subjects of study.
The Course of Study for MCA Program shall extend over a period of 3 Academic years; however, in case of candidates with PGDC PA of AU, the study period is two years.

Andhra University Distance MBA MCA Admission 2020 Application Process
  • Eligible candidate should download Entrance Application Form from the website www.andhrauniversity.edu.in/sde/
  • Duly filled-in Application for Admission along with relevant documents should be sent by registered post/delivered in person at the office of “The Director, School of Distance Education, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam-530003 (AP)”, India, on or before the last date.
  • However, they have to pay Rs.500/- by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar A.U. towards cost of application form and submit the same along with the application
