Eligibility Criteria
- For Class VI: Candidates born between 01 April to 31 March. It is nothing but age should be 10 to 12 years on 31 March while applying to this test.
- For Class IX: Candidates born between 01 April to 31 March. It is nothing but age should be 13 to 15 years on 31 March while applying to this test
- Curriculum: 10+2 System of CBSE
Application Process
- Candidates must apply online Application Form on website www.sskapurthala.com or aissee.nta.nic.in
- Duly completed application forms must reach the Principal, Sainik School Kapurthala by 1700 hrs on 30th November 2022. Applications received after due date/Incomplete application will be summarily rejected and fee once paid will not be refunded.
- Offline Prospectus-Cum-Application form can also be obtained from the school (by hand) on submission of Demand Draft only in favour of Principal, Sainik School) payable at Kapurthala.
Application Fee
- For Gen/Def/Ex-Def Category : Rs. 400/-
- For SC/ST Category : Rs. 250/-
- Payment through MO and IPO will not be accepted
- Note: *For SC/ST (Attaching of Xerox copy of boy’s caste certificate is compulsory)

- Written Examination, Interview & Medical Examination
Scheme of Written Exam
- The AISSEE will be on OMR based system which has Multiple Choice Questions with four options. Question Paper for Class VI will be in English & Hindi and for Class IX only in English

Reservation
- 67% of the seats are reserved for domiciles of Punjab. Short-fall if any, and remaining seats will be thrown open to candidates from other States/Union Territories. The distribution of the seats available is as under:-

- Scheduled Caste: 15%
- Scheduled Tribes: 7.5%
- OBC: 27%
