1.IIM, Ahmedabad
IIM Ahmedabad was established in 1961. It is ranked 2 in NIRF 2019 ranking. IIM A offers Post Graduate Programme (PGP), PGPX (Post Graduate Programme in Management Executives) and Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) and Ph.D. courses. It also offers some other courses such as the Faculty Development Programme, Armed Forces Programme, PGD in Advanced Business Analytics and Executive Education Programme.
2. IIM-Bangalore
The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (also known as IIMB) is a public business school located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Founded in 1973, it was the third IIM to be established, after IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad. It is consistently ranked as one of the best business schools in India and the Asia Pacific region.
It offers a Doctoral and several Post Graduate programmes, as well as a bouquet of Executive training programmes. IIM Bangalore awards only Diplomas, and not degrees. In addition to its main academic programmes, IIMB is also engaged in facilitating research, offering consultant services, conducting seminars and academic conferences and publishing journals.
3. IIM, Calcutta
IIM Calcutta was established in 1961. It is ranked 3 in NIRF 2019 ranking. IIMC offers MBA, MBA Executive, PGP Executive – Visionary Leadership in Manufacturing (VLM), PGD – Business Analytics, and Ph.D. courses.
4. IBS, Hyderabad
Indian School of Business (ISB) is a private business school in India with campuses at Hyderabad and Mohali. ISB is a not-for-profit organization funded entirely by corporate, foundations and individuals from around the world. The school was founded by two senior executives of McKinsey & Company and is governed by a board comprising both Indian and non-Indian businessmen.
ISB is among the best business schools in India. The school’s flagship program, the Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), was ranked 34th in the world in the 2013 Financial Times Global MBA Rankings. ISB is the first business school in South Asia to be accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
However, ISB has chosen not to apply for accreditation by All India Council of Technical Education as according to the recent judgment passed by the Supreme Court of India under the jurisdiction of Justice Gowda: “The role of AICTE universities is only advisory, recommendatory and one of providing guidance and (it) has no authority to issue or enforce any sanction by itself.”
5. PSG Institute of Management, Coimbatore
The PSG Institute of Management Coimbatore (PSGIM) is an institute of management education located in Coimbatore, India. It’s one of the top b-schools located around Tamilnadu. It’s been accredited with A*** (State) and A** (Nation) rating by CRISIL. Recently in Education world it’s been honored with 24th rank. It accepts MAT and TANCET scores. And also provides great opportunities to the students through placements with good CTC.
6. Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai
Loyola Institute of Business Administration or LIBA is a business school in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It was established in 1979. LIBA is a jesuit institution of the Loyola College, Chennai. Both these institutions are run by the Loyola College Society.
The autonomous school is governed by a Board, and offers a full-time MBA (PGDM) program (2 years), part-time MBA (PGBM) program (3 years) and various executive diploma courses and also is a resource center for PhD programs offered in affiliation with the University of Madras. TAPMI – Manipal (popularly known by its acronym TAPMI) is a business school in India. It was established in 1980 and is located in the university town of Manipal, near the temple town of Udupi. It is the second B-School in India to get accreditation to the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) after Indian School of Business.

Great Lakes Institute of Management (also known as Great Lakes) is a business school with campuses in two metros Chennai and Gurgaon (Delhi NCR)
