IGU Meerpur B.Ed and M.Ed Admission Eligibility Criteria 2021
- Eligibility Conditions for Admission to B.Ed. Two Years Regular Program as per NCTE Norms is as under:
- Candidates with at least 50% marks (47.5% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Visually and Differently Abled Candidates of Haryana only) either in the Bachelor Degree and /or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks (52.25% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Visually and Differently Abled Candidates of Haryana only) or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programs.
- Eligibility Conditions for Admission to M.Ed. Two Year Regular Program as per NCTE Norms is as under:
- B.Ed. examination from any recognized University, obtaining not less than 50% marks in the aggregate.
- Any other examination recognized by this University as equivalent to (a) above with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate.
- Reduction/relaxation of 5% marks in the eligibility conditions in all the programs shall be granted to the Scheduled Caste candidates
IGU Meerpur B.Ed and M.Ed Admission Application Process 2021
- Eligible Candidates can apply online through the official website University website www.igu.ac.in
- An E-mail ID for registration and for receiving all future correspondence till the admission process is over and subsequently if admitted.
- All relevant documents i.e., marksheet of qualifying examination, proof of age and other documents should be uploaded by the candidate along with an online application form.
- Candidates must take print-out of their online Application Form along with their locked choices. This print-out has to be signed and submitted at the time of reporting for admission
- Candidates will produce all the relevant certificates in original including registration-cumcounseling fee receipt for verification along with provisional allotment letter, a signed print out of their online application form, their locked choices generated from the website at the time of reporting.
- Before filling the online Application Form the candidates are required to read the prospectus carefully.
Online Registration & Counseling Fee
- For General Category candidates : Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- registration fee plus Rs. 500/- Counseling fee)
- For SC/BC/Differently Abled candidates of Haryana state : Rs. 625/- (Rs. 125/- registration fee plus Rs. 500/- Counseling fee)
- Mode of Payment : Online through Debit Card/ Credit Card/Net banking only.
Admission Process
- The Admission to B.Ed./M.Ed.(Regular) Programs run by the affiliated colleges of education of this University for the session 2022-22 will be made on the basis of inter-se merit of percentage of the Qualifying Examination through online counseling.
- In case a candidate has passed the Master Degree Examination also (a) after Bachelor Degree, the higher percentage of marks obtained either in Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree of the two will be taken into consideration while preparing the merit list for admission to B.Ed. Programme. (b) In case of admission to M.Ed. Programme, merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in B.Ed. Programme.
