Important Dates
- Application Process begins: 1st March 2024
- Last Date to Submit Application form without late fee: 15th March 2024
- Last Dates to submit Application form with late fee of Rs 500/-: 18th March 2024

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have completed their Post Graduate degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC) are eligible to apply for admission to Ph.D. program.
- However, the candidates who are waiting for their result of the Post Graduate program can also apply to appear in the test.
- The test will be computer based on multiple choice types.
Application Process
- The eligible candidates can submit the application form between 01st March 2024 to 15th of March 2024 through mponline.gov.in by paying Rs.3100/- (admission form fees Rs.2500/-, Portal fees Rs.600/)
- An additional late fees Rs.500/-, if the form is submitted in between 16th and 18th March 2024
- Candidates completed their Post Graduate degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the UGC from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991) are eligible to apply
- However, the candidates who are waiting for their result of the Post Graduate program can also apply to appear in the test. The test will be computer based multiple choice types.
Application Fee
- Candidates are required to pay the application fee of Rs.3100/- (admission form fee Rs.2500/-, Portal fees Rs.600/-)
- An additional late fees Rs.500/-, if the form is submitted in between 16th & 18th March 2024
Selection Process
- Admission to the PhD Program will be based on Entrance Test.
- Candidates qualifying JRF not later than 2 years (UGC/CSIR) are exempted from entrance test.
