NTA announces Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) for Admission to Postgraduate Programs offered in Central Universities, Apply now
CUET PG 2022 – National Testing Agency has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the Postgraduate Entrance Test for 42 Central and participating Universities for the academic session 2022-2023. CUET will provide a single window opportunity to students to seek admission in participating Universities across the country.
About Common University Entrance Test (CUET (PG) – 2022
- Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced for admission into UG/ PG programmes in Central and participating Universities for academic session 2022-23. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from North-East and from rural and other remote areas and help to establish better connections with the Universities. A single Examination will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part
- of the admissions process to various Central Universities.
- The CUET (PG) – 2022 will be conducted in CBT mode in 02 shifts for admissions in the next academic session.

CUET (PG) 2022 Important Dates
- Submission of Application Form Online : Last date of extension upto 18th July, 2022 (upto 05.00 pm)
- Last date for Payment of Application Fee Online : 19th July, 2022 (upto 11.50 pm)
- Correction in Application Form (Correction Window) : 20th July, 2022 to 22nd July, 2022 (upto 11.50 pm)

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor‟s Degree and/or the Master’s Degree in related field with a minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade

Age Limit
- For appearing in the CUET (PG) 2022, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the bachelor degree/equivalent examination or appearing in 2022 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (PG) 2022 examination.
- However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria of the University in which they are desirous of taking admission.
Note:
- For admission in Universities through CUET (PG)-2022, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc. of the respective University shall be applicable.
- As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs.
- Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying to.
- Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing pass marks at the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfills the Programme wise eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.

CUET (PG) 2022 Exam Pattern

- CUET (PG) 2022 will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode only.
- CUET (PG) 2022 will be conducted in English and Hindi (Bilingual) except for language and Sahitya papers (check details from Bunching List available in the Information Bulletin).
- Duration :120 minutes (02:00 Hrs)
- Timing of Examination : Shift-1 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon/ Shift-2 03:00 P.M. to 05:00 P.M.

Note
- Candidates can apply for ONLY ONE COURSE IN A SLOT. The candidate should read the Information Bulletin carefully and identify the course and the University for which he/she is applying and check the eligibility of the University where they are seeking admission.
- Each question paper will have 100 Questions.
- Candidate has to choose either English or Hindi language for the General Paper. (Choose Carefully).
- For PGQP08, PGQP60 and PGQP74 and PGQP78 only one course can be selected from the drop down list in the registration form.
- The entire Question Paper for PGQP05 (English) and PGQP06 (Hindi) would be in only one language.
- The Question Paper will be in Sanskrit only for Acharya, Shiksha Shastri and Shiksha Acharya Courses.
- Further in case of Shiksha Shastri and Shiksha Acharya the entire 100 questions of the question paper would be in Sanskrit language only.
- In case of PGQP60 and PGQP62 concerned language only would be used for the domain knowledge questions i.e. 75 questions.
Making Scheme
- Each question carries 04 (four) marks.
- For each correct response, the candidate will get 04 (four) marks.
- For each incorrect response, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total score.
- Un-answered/un-attempted response will be given no marks.
- To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as the correct option.
- However, after the process of Challenges of the Answer Key, in case there are multiple correct options or change in key, only those candidates who have attempted it correctly as per the revised Answer key will be awarded marks.
- In case a Question is dropped due to some technical error, full marks shall be given to all the candidates irrespective of the fact who have attempted it or not.

e-Admit Card
