JEE Main Exam Centres 2024 – National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced JEE Main exam centres allotment 2024 for the registered candidates for 2024 cycle. Candidates can check their allocated exam centres for JEE Main 2024 cycle from the official website, https://jeemain.nic.in/ by entering their application number, password and security pin.
JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination) is a top-Level Engineering Entrance Exam of India conducted for admissions in B.Tech/B.E/B.Arch Courses in NITs, IIITs and other Engineering institutions; though IITs offer admission to these courses through JEE Advanced Examination. Candidates who qualify JEE Main 2024 Exam will be considered eligible to appear in JEE Advanced examination
National Testing Agency or NTA has released the list of JEE Main exam centres for 2024 exams where candidates will have to take the exam for both Paper-I & Paper-II which will be conducted in two shifts in a day: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM (Morning Shift) and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM (Afternoon Shift).
JEE Main exam centres 2024 are situated across different states of the India in different cities and also outside India. While filling the application form of JEE Main, candidates were asked to choose maximum 4 exam centre cities from 264 test cities in India and 9 cities abroad. The complete name and address of the allotted exam centre will be mentioned on the candidates admit card. JEE Main Exam Centre allotment 2024 will be done according to the preferences of the candidate.
JEE Main Exam Centres 2024 – List of Cities in the Various States of India and Abroad
The NTA has given a list of cities where JEE Main exam centres will be set up. As the JEE MAIN Exam is one of the most sought after entrance exam, a lot of students sit for it every year. The NTA has revamped the list of exam centres for JEE Main exam for the convenience of the students. The exam centre will be allotted according to the preference of the candidate. Each candidate can select three test centres for the JEE Main exam in decreasing order of suitability. The exam centre allocation will be at the discretion of the NTA according to the availability of seats. We have given the list of cities (state wise) where the exam centres for JEE Main exam will be set up. The list of exam centres outside India has also been given. Also, the changes in exam centres as notified by the NTA have been listed out.

JEE Main Exam Centres 2024 – Instruction to Candidates
Students must take care of the following points regarding the JEE Main 2024 exam centres.
- Please be careful while selecting test cities at the time of filing the application form.
- As exam centres are given in one of the four selected cities, test cities must be selected near to your home town to enable you to reach the centre in time.
- It is better to check the route to exam centre to avoid traffic jams or any other issue.
- It is better for the candidtaes to visit the exam centre once prior to the day of the exam.
- Students must carefully read and adhere to all the instructions printed on the admit card regarding JEE Main exam centres 2021.
JEE Main 2024 Exam Centres – Things to Carry and Avoid on Exam Day
NTA has given instructions regarding the code of conduct and items that are allowed and those which are not allowed at the JEE Main exam centres. Students must strictly adhere to all the guidelines and points mentioned in the admit card and brochure of JEE Main 2024. Students are provided with all the necessary instructions which should be followed while reporting to the exam centres of JEE Main 2024.
- Students should ensure that they reach the JEE Main exam centres at least 2 hours before commencement of exam.
- Students should carry a good quality coloured print of the admit card. No students will be allowed to appear in the exam without the JEE Main 2024 admit card.
- Students also need to carry a valid photo ID in original out of the following options-

- Candidates must bring their own stationary material.
- Students must not carry any textual material, Calculators, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Watches, printed or written material, bits of paper, mobile phone, Blue-tooth devices, pager Instrument/Geometry/Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, Any kind of Paper/ Stationery, Eatables/snacks and Tea/coffee/cold drinks/Water (loose or packed), Mobile Phone/ Earphone/Microphone/Pager, Calculator, Camera, Tape Recorder, any metallic item or electronic gadgets
- Diabetic students are allowed to carry eatables like medicine/fruits (like banana/ apple/orange) and transparent water bottle to the examination hall. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/candy/sandwich etc.
- Phone/Microphone/Pager, Calculator, Camera, Tape Recorder, any metallic item or electronic gadgets etc. are NOT allowed in the Examination Room/Hall.
