Eligibility Criteria

  • M.PHARMACY : Should have passed B.Pharm degree awarded by any recognized University and approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55% (incase of SC/ST/OBC 50% aggregate marks) of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years of B. Pharm).
  • PG PHARM.D. (POST BACCALAUREATE) : Should possess B. Pharmacy Degree awarded by any recognised University and approved by the P.C.I.
  • PG M.PHIL.- CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY : Should have obtained minimum educational requirement to this course will be 2 years M.A./M.Sc. Degree in Psychology from a University recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate. For SC/ST category, minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
  • M.Sc. Nursing (Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care) : A pass in B.Sc. Nursing (Basic)/ Post Basic. B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.Registered with the State Registration Council of Nursing and Midwifery.
  • Minimum of one year clinical experience, preferably in any critical care setting after registration in the state council.
  • M.Sc. (AUDIOLOGY) : Candidates with Bachelor Degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology / B.Sc. (Speech and Hearing) degree of any recognized University by the Rehabilitation Council of India, with a minimum of 55%aggregate marks. Candidates should have completed an internship for a duration of 10 or 12 months as prescribed by the institute.
  • PG M.Sc. (SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY) : Candidates with Bachelor Degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology / B.Sc. (Speech and Hearing) degree of any recognized University by the Rehabilitation Council of India, with a minimum of 55%aggregate marks. Candidates should have completed an internship for a duration of 10 or 12 months as prescribed by the institute.
  • M.Sc. Nursing : Registered with the State Registration Council of Nursing and Midwifery.
    • Minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc. Nursing (Basic)/B.Sc. Hons.Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
    • 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.
    • Undergone B.Sc. Nursing (Basic)/ B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing (Post basic) in an institute which is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
    • Minimum one year of work experience after B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) in a hospital or in a college or in a school of Nursing or in community health programme after registration in a State Nursing Council.
    • Minimum one year of work experience prior / after to B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic).
    • In case of male candidates, they should have passed any other course recommended by the Indian Nursing Council in Place of Midwifery. Those who have studied Midwifery and Registered Midwife are eligible for admission to Obstetrics & Gynaecology Nursing and Community Health Nursing specialty.

Selection Process

  • Group PG A : Selection will be made on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the Entrance Examination.
  • Group PG B : Selection will be made on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the Interview.

 

Group PG (A) – Exam Pattern

    • The All India Entrance Examination will be conducted at Sri RamachandraInstitute of Higher Education & research (Deemed to be University), Porur, Chennai – 600 116.
    • The Entrance Examination will be conducted in ENGLISH only.
  • M.Pharmacy/Pharm.D. (Post Baccalaureate):
      • The question booklet will consist of 120 multiple choice questions (single best response) covering basic & applied aspects of chemistry and pharmacy at Degree level.
  • M.Sc. Nursing/ M.Sc. Nursing (Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care):
      • The question booklet will consist of 120 multiple choice questions (single best response) covering important aspects of the subjects prescribed for B.Sc. (Nursing) Degree Course.
  • M. Phil. – Clinical Psychology:
      • The question booklet will consist of 120 multiple choice questions (single best response) covering important aspects of the subjects prescribed for Psychology at Postgraduate Degree level.
  • M.Sc. (Audiology)/M.Sc. (Speech-Language Pathology):
    • The question booklet will consist of 120 multiple choice questions (single best response) covering important aspects of the subjects prescribed for B.ASLP at undergraduate degree level.
  • The duration of the examination will be 2 (Two) hours.
  • All questions carry equal marks. There will be no negative mark for wrong answers.
