The Global Open University, Nagaland has been established under the provisions of The Global Open University Act 2006 (Act 3 of 2006) of the Government of Nagaland with a view to introducing vocational, job oriented and employment centric education in the North-East in general and in the State of Nagaland in particular.

Admission Process
How to get admitted ?
The following are the five steps for getting admitted to any of the Master’s / MBA / M.Phil. Degree under distance learning mode :
1. Download the Admission Form from this website and print.
2. Complete the Admission Form by filling in the appropriate information.
3. Attach copies of all certificates / marks sheets and four passport / stamp size photographs.
4. Get a bank draft made for the first instalment of the respective course in the name of “The Global Open University” payable at Dimapur and attach the same with the Admission Form.
5. Send all these in an envelope by Registered / Speed Post to “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Opposite Railway Station, Dimapur 797112, Nagaland.
What next ?
1. Wait for 15 days. You will receive the Identity Card and the set of lessons.
2. Prepare for June and December examination.
3. Send the remaining instalments of fees every six months.
4. In case of any difficulty send an email : univ@nagaland.net.in
