Arts is a versatile field. It is a misconception that only weak students opt for Arts. There are numerous career opportunities for Arts students. Law
It is a very challenging and competitive field with very few seats available in the best institutes. A career in law ensures a high profile job with an excellent salary. Students need to score 60% and above in the 12th board exam and should also get a good score in CLAT exams. You can pursue a law course after 12th Arts in two ways, BBA+LLB and BA+LLB. BBA + LLB
Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law Honours is an integrated course of 5 years. The students study a combination of Business Administration and Law. BBA LLB Entrance Exams are CLAT, ACLAT, and LSAT India.
BA + LLB
Bachelor of Arts and LLB is a 5 years integrated course. A student can specialize in Constitutional or criminal Law. Many colleges offer this course but some famous Law colleges in India are at Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune and Kolkata. Computer Application
Art and computers are two different fields, but if you want to change fields you can take admission to BCA after 12th Arts. BCA or Bachelor in Computer Application is for students who want to pursue their career in Computer languages.It is not equivalent to B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science, but have good scope in many IT companies. The aggregate score to pursue BCA is 45%-55% marks.
BA + MA
Most of the students opt for a Bachelor of Arts (BA) after completing HSC. It is a 3 years course done in many different fields like English, History, Psychology, French, Humanities and Social Sciences, Fine Arts, and the list goes on. In India, it is not easy to get a well-paying job by doing BA.

A Master’s degree or MBA is very essential for a good job. There are many Management entrance exams conducted in India for admissions to the numerous B schools.
Many students go for Masters of Arts (MA) after completing BA. You can opt for your favourite subject out of options like Public Administration, Sociology, Mass Communication, Philosophy, Physical Education, English Literature and Foreign Languages to name a few.
Pursuing BA from Government college is relatively cheaper as compared to Private Colleges. Many Civil Services Aspirants take this course because most of the topics of UPSC syllabus get covered in BA and MA course.
