How to Apply?
Candidates should apply on line through www.upsconline.nic.in
The applicants must submit only single application.
The applicants (who submits multiple applications should note that only the applications with higher ID (Registration ID) will be accepted.
The eligible candidates will get an e-Admission Certificate three weeks before the commencement of the exam.
The e-Admission Certificate will be made available in the UPSC website [www.upsc.gov.in] for downloading.
(No Admission Certificate will be sent by post.)
Important to note…
All the applicants are required to provide valid & active e-mail i.e. while filling up Online application form as the commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.

The “Combined Defence Services” Examination is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy. The Notification for the CDS examination is usually released in the months of October and June, and the examinations are conducted in February and November respectively. Only unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for the exam. Successful candidates are admitted into the respective Academies after an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).
