NDA & NA Examination that is held twice a year
It is a national level entrance test conducted twice a year i.e NDA I and NDA II conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). It is conducted to recruit candidates in the Army, Navy and Air Force. On the basis of written exam results shortlisted candidates are called for SSB Interview.
Eligibility: Candidates should be between 16 ½ to 19½ years of age at the time of commencement of course. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physic and Mathematic. Candidates appearing for final year (12thh Board) are also eligible to apply. Applicant should be unmarried.
Technical Entry Scheme –TES (For High School Science Graduates)
This is a Technical entry meant for intermediate level applicants. Applicant has to be between 16½ to 19½ years of age as on the first day of the month of commencement of course at OTA. Applicant should be unmarried. Applicant must have completed 10+2 with Science stream. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects and minimum marks obtained is 70%.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on final TES cut off marks. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the TES SSB interview.
Duration of Training: 5 Yrs (1 Yrs OTA GAYA & 4 Yrs CTWS)
- Phase-I- 01 Year Pre-commissioning Training at OTA Gaya & 03 Years at CME Pune/MCTE Mhow/MCEME Secunderabad.
- Phase-II- 01 Year Post commission training at CME Pune/MCTE Mhow/MCEME Secunderabad.
