What is the exam format going to be for JEE Main and Advanced exams 2021?
JEE Main 2021 exam pattern
- JEE Main 2021 exam will be conducted for three papers instead of two papers.
- Separate exam will be conducted for those students who wish to pursue B.Planning
- The total number of questions has been reduced from 264 to 233.
- JEE Main 2021 exam will now also include numerical questions along with MCQ questions.

JEE Advanced Exam Pattern
- The Exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, each of three hours duration.
- The questions papers will be printed separately in English and Hindi.
- Each of the question papers will consist of three separate parts in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- In some sections, incorrect answers may be awarded negative marks.
- The question paper will have MCQ type questions and numerical type questions as well.
