Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate applying for this course should have following qualification
- Medical Candidates Qualification: Candidate should be having a MD or DNB degree in concerned subject recognized by medical council of India/National Medical Commission
- Non-Medical Candidates: Candidates should have master’s degree with minimum 60 % marks obtained by Indian Universities or equivalent in the subject as per relevant to this research project.
- Note: Candidates possessing Master’s degree through distance learning course are not eligible.
- Candidates MUST have qualified in any one of following National Entrance Tests in last 2 years with acquisition of Junior Research Fellowship:
- Joint CSIR-UGC NET– JRF
- ICMR -JRF
- DBT -JRF
- INSPIRE fellowship-JRF
- For Nursing: Candidates holding M.Sc. degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent percentile in Nursing specialty

Selection Process
- Admission to the PhD Program will be done through an interview process of shortlisted eligible candidate (s), by a committee at AIIMS Rishikesh. Screening may be conducted if deemed necessary by competent authority.
- No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidate for attending the Interview.
