Bennett University PhD Admission – Bennett University Greater Noida UP invites applications for admission to PhD programs in Computer Science Engineering, Engineering and applied Sciences, Law, Management and Journalism & Mass Communication for academic session commencing from March 2022

- School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) offering Ph.D program in the following streams:

- Areas of specialization for SOM: Marketing, Organizational Behaviour & Human Resource Management, Finance, Economics, Operations Management and Business Policy & Strategy.
- Times School of Media (TSOM) offering Ph.D. program in Journalism and Mass Communication.
- Areas of specialization for TSOM: Candidates can choose to work of any of the mass communication platforms including, Print Journalism, TV Journalism, Digital Journalism, Advertising & Marketing, Radio & Podcasting and Film Studies. Bennett University PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria 2022
For Computer Science Engineering and Technology / Engineering and Applied Sciences
- Academic Requirements (Minimum Qualifications): 60% Marks or a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale in relevant programs in M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc./M.Phil.
- (Candidates with MCA degree are not eligible for the Ph.D. program in Engineering and Applied Sciences of the University)
For Law
- To be eligible for applying for admission to Ph.D. Degree, the applicant should have:
- Obtained a master’s degree in Law/any other discipline from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks or its equivalent; provided that candidates with qualifications in social sciences, humanities and sciences may be admitted to the program, if the research they wish to pursue, interfaces with the discipline of law.
- Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination but awaiting results are also eligible to apply, provided that the result of the qualifying examination shall be submitted by the candidate at the time of Registration failing which their candidature shall be cancelled.
- Applicants with more than 3 years industry/ teaching/ practicing/ managerial/ professional experience would be given preference.
For Management
- Candidates for admission to the Ph.D Program shall have a Master’s degree, or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 60 %marks or with Aggregate CGPA of 6.5 on a scale of 10 (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
- Professional qualifications such as CA/ ICWA/CS with any Under-graduate Degree are also eligible to apply. Any equivalent degree from a foreign educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.
For Journalism and Mass Communication
- Candidates applying for the Ph.D. program should have a master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in UGC 7-point scale. Candidates with a master’s degree in other domains of social sciences are also eligible to apply, provided their area of research is essentially from mass communication.
- Note: Candidates who have appeared previously for Ph.D. admission, and not selected, shall not be eligible to apply for a minimum one year, since last attempt.
Bennett University PhD Admission Application Process 2022
- Apply on-line using net banking/credit/debit card at application portal i.e. ‘NoPaperForms’ which can be accessed through www.bennett.edu.in >>> Admissions. Follow the guidelines thereafter.
- Candidates applying for Law/ Management programs must also upload preliminary research proposals, as explained above along with application. Applications received without the same shall not be accepted.

Selection Process
- The shortlisting of applications for admission test/interview will be done by the doctoral admission committee of respective schools, based on the profile of applicant as provided in the application form.
