Calicut University Admission 2024 – University of Calicut invites applications for admission to various Entrance Oriented PG Programs / 5 Year Integrated PG – with Multiple entry and exit options / M.P.Ed. / B.P.Ed /B.P.E.S (Integrated) / LL.M. with Double Specialization Programs through Calicut University Common Admission Test (CU-CAT) for the Academic year 2024-25
Applications are also invited for ‘Open All India Quota’ admission at the University Teaching Departments. Candidates seeking admission under Open All India Quota and Lakshadweep Quota are exempted from appearing in the common entrance examination

Eligibility Criteria
M.A Arabic Language & Literature
- BA Arabic/Afsal-ul ulama/ Double Main / core with Arabic degree /B.A. Functional Arabic with at least 50% marks in Part III or BA/BSc (excluding alternative pattern) Degree with Arabic in Part II with at least 50% marks of this University or equivalent degree. For candidates under grading system overall CGPA at least equivalent to 50%.
Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
- A Pass in BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent degree, OR A Pass in B.Sc./ B. Com, B.A with Mathematics at 10 + 2 Level or at Graduation Level or any equivalent degree, with at least 50% marks/grade (45% marks/grade in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).
Integrated M.Sc Bioscience
- Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects are eligible for admission.
Integrated M.Sc Physics
- Candidates with a minimum of 70% marks in aggregate for General category, 65% marks for OBC and 60% for SC/ST/PWD at +2 level of education (Intermediate, CBSE/ICSE/HSC/ and all State Boards or Equivalent), with science subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible for admission.
Integrated M.Sc Chemistry
- Candidates with a minimum of 70% marks in aggregate for General category, 65% marks for OBC and 60% for SC/ST/PWD at +2 level of education (Intermediate, CBSE/ICSE/HSC/ and all State Boards or Equivalent), with science subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible for admission.
Integrated MA Development Studies
- Candidates who have passed Plus-two or equivalent from any stream with a minimum of 60 percentage of marks or equivalent grade.
BPEd (2 years)
- A pass in any Bachelor Degree of this University or a Bachelor degree recognised as equivalent thereto. The candidate should be below 26 years of age as on 1st July 2021
BPEd (Integrated) 4 years
- Pass in +2 or Pass in 2 year course in Physical Education after SSLC recognized by this
- University. Age limit 23 years as on 1st July 2021

Application Process
- Applications can be submitted online till 15th April 2024
- Candidates shall visit the University admission website https://admission.uoc.ac.in/ and access the Registration Link provided in the web
- page and complete the registration.
- If a candidate submits more than one application, his/her candidature is liable to be canceled.
Application Fee

- General : Rs.580 /- per programme
- SC/ST: Rs. 255 /- per programme.
- LLM
- General : Rs. 790/- per programme
- SC/ST: Rs. 370/- per programme
- For each additional programme Rs.85 /- shall be paid by all the candidates
- Mode of Payment : Through e-payment system (SBI Online/ Payment Gateway/ Friends Janasevana Kendram/ Akshaya Kendras)
Admission Process
- Admission will be based on Calicut University Common Admission Test ( CU CAT) 2024.
Entrance Test Centre
- There will be test centers in Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad and Kannur districts.
