Sainik School Imphal Admission 2021 – Sainik School Imphal (Manipur) invites application from eligible candidates for admission to Class VI, through All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2021 for the academic year 2021-2022

Admission is subject to qualifying in the All India Entrance Examination followed by Interviews, Physical Fitness and Medical Examination conducted by this institution

Aim
The primary aim of the School is to prepare boys academically, physically and psychological for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other professions
The all-round education of the School, however, fully equips a student to pursue any other career with distinction.
About the Program
The All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) for admission into Class VI for the academic session 2021-22 will be conducted on 10 Jan 2021 (Sunday) from 1000 hrs onwards at Sainik School Imphal.

Eligibility Criteria for Sainik School Imphal Admission 2021
Candidates should be between 10 years to 12 years of age as on 31 March 2021 and should have passed Class V at the time of admission.
Qualifying Marks
The minimum qualifying marks for General category and OBC candidates as well as children of Defence Services personnel and Ex-Servicemen will be 25% in each subject with 40% in aggregate.
In the case of SC and ST candidates, minimum qualifying standards are not required and they will be admitted on the basis of inter-se merit at the Entrance Examination within these categories.
In case a SC/ST candidate comes in the general merit on his own, he would be admitted against the General seat and will not be adjusted against the reserved share of SC/ST seats. 200 marks are prescribed for the Written Examination

Scheme of Written Exam
The examination will be OMR based which will have multiple choice questions with four options. The medium of examination will be either English or Hindi.
Selection Process
The candidates who have passed the written examination will be subjected to a medical exam by a Medical Board at JNIMS, Imphal East. Simply passing the written examination does not confer any right to the candidates for getting admission in Sainik School Imphal
Only those candidates who have been declared medically fit by the Medical Board will be selected for admission.
