Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Candidates who have completed 15 years of age and those who have not completed 24 years of age as on 15-12-2022 are eligible for apprentice vacancies.
- Upper age relaxation will be applicable for SC/ ST Aspirants by 05 years and OBC Applicants by 03 years.
- The upper age limit is relaxable by up to 10 years in a case of Persons with Disability.
- The eligible Date of Birth (DOB) range shall be as follows:
- GEN – 15-12-1998 to 15-12-2007
- OBC – 15-12-1995 to 15-12-2007
- SC – 15-12-1993 to 15-12-2007
- ST – 15-12-1993 to 15-12-2007
Educational Qualifications
- Passed 10th Class Exam or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
- A National Trade Certificate in a related trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/ State Council for Vocational Training.
Application Procedure
- Candidates must apply ONLINE by logging on to the RRC/CR website https://www.rrccr.com/. Candidates must carefully fill up the personal details/ BIO-DATA, etc. Now follow the below-mentioned steps to Apply Online RRCCR Act Apprentice Application Form 2023:-
- Step 1 Open the official website of RRC Central Railway or click on a link attached below to start the registration process.
- Step 2 On a homepage, open a link named as “Download RRC Central Railway Notification for Engagement of Apprentices 2022-23”.
- Step 3 First of all, download the official advertisement and read it carefully for being sure about your eligibility.
- Step 4 Now, press on the “Online Application for Engagement (Training) of Trade Apprentices in Central Railway 2022-23” link to proceed further.
- Step 5 Fill up the prescribed format without making any mistakes. You will not be able to edit these details after registration.
Application Fee
- Candidates have to deposit their fee online through the Payment Gateway by Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, SBI Challan, etc.
- General and OBC Category Aspirants: Rs. 100/- (rupees one hundred only)
- SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women Aspirants: Rs. 000/- (no fee)
Selection Process
- RRCCR board will appoint eligible candidates based on their percentage obtained in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate marks) plus ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done
- The panel will be based on a simple average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.
- Aspirants who find their name on a merit list will have to attend the Document Verification process.
- Production of original documents on the day of document verification is mandatory, without which applicants will not be allowed to appear in the document verification.
