Eligibility Criteria for JMRC Recruitment 2019
| Station Controller/ Train Operator | Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks or Equivalent Grade/ Level, and |
| Mathematics or Physics as one of the subjects passed in Senior Secondary (10+2) orHigher Secondary (10+1) or equivalent exam of a recognised Board | |
| Junior Engineer (Civil) | Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks or equivalent Grade/Level |
| Junior Engineer (Electronics) | Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks or equivalent Grade/Level |
| Junior Engineer (Electrical) | Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks or equivalent Grade/Level |

Nationality
| A candidate for entry into the service of the Corporation must be either of the following- | ||
| i. | a citizen of India, | |
| ii. | a subject of Nepal, | |
| iii. | a subject of Bhutan, | |
| iv. | a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, | |
| v | A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda and the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India | |
