What is MBA? – MBA Full Form

MBA Full Form is a Master of Business Administration. MBA is a two-year postgraduate program that teaches about business aspects such as finance, management skills, technical skills, and leadership skills. It creates an opportunity for students to grab top jobs in the world. It is one of the most popular programs in India and abroad.

  • Students from any stream can pursue an MBA program.
  • A one-year course in Business Administration is a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).
  • An MBA program is generally a four-semester (two-year) course.
  • An MBA program is offered in three modes: Regular, Part-Time, and Distance Mode.
  • Candidates with prior work experience of 5-10 years can pursue the Executive MBA program.
  • Many institutes offer Post Graduate Programme (PGP) instead of MBA courses which is the same.

 

MBA Eligibility

Candidates who wish to pursue an MBA course should fulfill the following criteria:

  1.   Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  2.   Candidates must acquire 50% marks in graduation to become eligible.
  3.   Candidates who are in the final year of graduation can apply for the MBA program.
  4.   Candidates must pass the entrance exam for applying to the college/university.

For MBA Admission Candidates need to appear for an MBA Entrance exam to pursue an MBA course at top B-Schools. An MBA entrance exam is conducted at the National and State level.
