University of Hyderabad Distance Education Diploma Admission 2024 – The Centre for Distance and Virtual Learning (CDVL), University of Hyderabad invites applications for admission to various one-year Diploma Programs for the academic year 2024.

About CDVL 

  • The University of Hyderabad, a premier institution of post graduate teaching and research in the country, was established by an Act of Parliament on 2nd October, 1974 as a Central University, wholly funded by the University Grants Commission. The Centre for Distance and Virtual Learning is one of the oldest centres of the University of Hyderabad which was officially established in the year 1994. The Centre initially started with two diploma programmes. Presently it is offering fourteen One year Diploma Programmes, which are employable, knowledge oriented and skill developing programmes. These programmes are offered through distance mode, i.e., correspondence cum contact programme.

Eligibility Criteria for University of Hyderabad Distance Education Diploma Admission 2024

  • DLAN/DCL & IPR/DCE/DCJ&FS/ DBM/ DPM/ DPRG & RD: Any graduate from a recognized University
  • Diploma in Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC): Any graduate from Health, Medical, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (OR) Any other graduates with 2 years demonstrated experience in the Health Care Sector.
  • Diploma in Community Eye Health (DCEH): Graduate in Medicine, Ayush, Optometry, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Nutrition (OR) any Science graduate with Biology as a core subject with one year relevant experience
  • Diploma in Telecom Technology & Management (DTTM): Engineering graduates from a recognised university in ECE/EEE/EIE/ETC/ICT branches and other engineering graduate with Electronics as one of the subjects. M.Sc Electronics / AMIE from a recognised University. Other Engineering or B.Sc graduates with Electronics/Physics/Maths/ Computer Science as one of the subjects from a recognised university with 2 years of experience in the field of Telecommunications. However, a Diploma in ECE/EEE is counted on par with Two years of Experience.

  • Candidates are required to obtain an application form from the official website https://www.uohyd.ac.in, download and fill it, and send it to the concerned office address of the University.

Application Fee

  • Application Fee – Rs. 300/- 

 

Mode of Payment

  • No other mode of payment shall be accepted.

 

Admission Process

  • The candidates selected for admission will be intimated individually through the email (address given by them in application).

 

Reservations for SC/ST/OBC Students

  • Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS students will be in accordance with the policy of the Government of India and the guidelines of the University Grants Commission. Students applying for such programmes should submit, along with their application, a copy of their caste/tribe Certificate from a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar / Mandal Revenue Officer
