CBSE opened Portal for Schools to upload class 10 Marks
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has activated an e Pariksha portal for schools to upload marks of class 10 students. All the schools will upload the marks of class 10 students as per the alternative assessment scheme released by the board on May 1, 2021. The E Pariksha portal will be used for uploading the marks of class 10th and further students can access it to download their results. CBSE Class 10 result 2021 will be released on June 20, 2021
According to the CBSE assessment scheme, students will be marked out of 100 for each subject in which 20 marks for each subject will be for internal assessment as every year and 80 marks will be calculated on basis of the students’ performance in various tests or exams throughout the year. In case students are not satisfied with the marks awarded to them, they will have the opportunity to appear for the examinations at a later date.
CBSE has asked schools to carefully upload the marks of class 10th on the portal as it cannot be edited or modified at a later stage. School spell bee logging into the E Pariksha portal with their respective credentials and can upload the student’s marks on the base of which results will be announced.
CBSE has also asked the schools for safekeeping of students’ records with supporting documents for future reference.
As per the CBSE official, “the board can deploy officials to verify the records and process that is used by the various schools evaluate the class 10th results and if found to use unfair practices the board can take action against them.”
As per the official statement, after the 10 results are announced, schools will be allowed to conduct objective-type compartment exams in an online or offline mode based on sample question papers for students who do not qualify on the basis of alternative assessment criteria. However, admissions for those students in class 11 will be provisional till the time compartment exam results are declared.
