CBSE to conduct Class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2023 from Mid-February
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday, has notified the tentative start date for Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2023. As per the notification, the board exam 2023 will begin from February 15, 2023.
Unlike this year, there will be only one exam at the end of the academic session 2022-23. The detailed subject-wise date sheet for CBSE Board Exam 2023 will be released later.
CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said in the official statement, “In light of the lessening of the impact of the Covid pandemic across the globe, the board has decided to conduct the 2023 examination from February 15, 2023.”
The results for the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2022 were also announced Friday i.e. July 22, 2022. As per the result, 92.7 % students have cleared the class 12 exam whereas class 10 pass percentage stands at 94.40. Girls have outperformed boys in both Class 12 and 10 board exams.
The result was announced combining term 1 and term 2 marks. Term 1 received 30% weightage and term 2 received 70% weightage in theory papers. Equal weightage was given to Practical exams
