CUET 2022 Application process to start from April 2
CUET 2022 application form – On Sunday, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that the application process for CUET (Common Universities Entrance Test) for undergraduate courses, will start on 2nd April and will continue till 30th April, 2022.
CUET twice a year from next session
NTA has also indicated that they might be conducting CUET twice a year from the next session.
CUET is a multiple-choice question format test, qualifying which, students can get direct admission to the central universities for undergraduate studies, irrespective of their class 12 result.

UGC requests all State Universities, Private Universities to use CUET scores for admission
CUET is conducted across 54 central universities all over India. But UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar has expressed his willingness to expand the number of universities under CUET by inviting and encouraging all state universities, deemed-to-be universities, private and other higher educational institutions to adopt and use CUET scores for admission in their institutions, from 2022-23 onwards. The main idea behind this is to streamline the undergraduate admission process so that the students won’t have to give multiple entrance exams for different universities.
UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar held a virtual meeting on Monday, inviting all the heads of different deemed-to-be universities across the country. The universities have expressed their interest in being a part of CUET.
While answering the question of whether CUET will encourage the “coaching culture” in India or not, Mr. Jagadesh Kumar simply said that it won’t. The syllabus of the exam completely matches class 12, so to qualify for this exam, the students will just need to cover their class 12 board exam syllabus, so there’s simply no need for coaching.
