NTA EXAM DATES 2024 for JEE MAIN, NEET UG, CUET UG & PG , UGC NET

NTA examination Schedule for Academic Year 2024-25 released

The National Testing Agency released the NTA Exam Dates 2024 for JEE Main, CUET UG, NEET and others exams on its official website. As per the Examination Calendar released by NTA for the Academic Year 2024-25, the Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 examination will be held between January 24 to February 1, 2024 and Session 2 will be held between April 1 to April 15, 2024 in Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode.

The Common University Entrance Test-UG (CUET-UG) for 2024, will take place between May 15 and May 31, 2024. Whereas CUET-PG 2024 is scheduled to be held from March 11 to March 28, 2024. The Common University Entrance Test will also be a Computer Based Test (CBT).

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2024 for Undergraduate courses is scheduled to be held on May 5, 2024 in Pen and Paper mode. 

The UGC NET Session 1 has been scheduled for June 10 to June 21, 2024, in computer based test (CBT) mode. The NTA has mentioned that the applicants would receive specific details about each exam through the information bulletin for that exam. The information bulletins of the respective examination will be made available at the time of the release of registration forms.

The notice also mentions that the result of all CBT Examinations shall be announced within three weeks of the conclusion of the examination. For NEET (UG) 2024, the results shall be declared by the second week of June, 2024.

About the Entrance Exams

JEE Main
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main examination (formally known as AIEEE) is conducted by NTA for admission into undergraduate engineering programs and courses in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other reputed engineering colleges and it is also a Prelim exam for admission to IITs.
NEET UG
NTA conducts National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test [(NEET (UG)] for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions in the country.  Also as per the Government regulation, there shall be a uniform NEET (UG) for admission to undergraduate courses in each of the disciplines i.e. BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS courses of the Indian System of Medicine in all Medical Institutions in India. NEET (UG) shall also be applicable to admission to BHMS course.
UGC NET
UGC NET is conducted for awarding of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Eligibility for Assistant Professorship depends on the aggregate performance of the candidate in Paper-I and Paper-II of the NET Exam Conducted by NRA
CUET UG & PG
National Testing Agency conducts the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) separate for undergraduate courses and post graduate courses, for admission to different (UG and PG) programs of the participating Central Universities. CUET UG and CUET PG will provide a single window opportunity to the students to seek admission in these participating Universities / Institute(s) across the country.Other than the Central Universities, there are many other Universities who consider CUET scores for admissions to various programs in their respective institutions.
