Bihar UGEAC 2024 – Online Applications are invited from candidates who have appeard in Joint Entrance Examination [JEE (MAIN)]-2024 (Paper-I), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and got a valid score. Such candidates may apply for appearing in the Undergraduate Engineering Admission Counselling (UGEAC)-2024 for admission to the first year B.E. / B. Tech. Courses in Govt. Engineering Colleges of Bihar, SGIDT, Patna , Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Womens Institute of Technology, Navodaya Complex, Kameshwar Nagar, Darbhanga (Under Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga), Bihar. (Advertisement regarding admission in B. Arch. course in G.E.C., Gaya will be published later on.)

- Online Registration closing date : 10.06.2024
- Last date of payment through Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI with final submission of the online Application Form of Registered candidate : 11.06.2024
- Online Editing of Application Form : 12.06.2024 to 13.06.2024
- Publication of Merit list of UGEAC-2024 : 15.06.2024
- Proposed date of Online Counselling : To be notified later on.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only the candidates included in the merit list obtained on the basis of JEE (Main) 2024/ NATA 2024 which has been conducted by NIA at the national level are eligible to only online for UGEAC 2024.
4-Years Engineering and Technology course
- Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship as per table-8.4 of Approval Process Handbook (APH)-2024-27 of All India Council for Technical Education Agriculture stream (for Agriculture Engineering) Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subject taken together. OR
- Passed minimum 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category). (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc, for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme). OR
- Passed D.voc Stream in the same or allied sector.
5-Year full-time Bachelor of Architecture Course
- No candidate shall be admitted to Architecture course unless he/she has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as Compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as Compulsory subject with at least 45% Marks in Aggregate.
- The candidate needs to qualify an aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA (JEE) or ‘NATA’ conducted by the Council of Architecture.
- Age Criteria: There is no age limit for admission to Engineering.
- Physical : There will be a medical examination of the candidates’ selection for admission. Nomination order for admission will be issued to the candidate only if he is found eligible in the test. There will be a separate fee for this test.
- Residential Qualification : Only those applicants who are residents of India and are included in the counseling of UGEAC 2024 on the basis of merit list of JEE (MAIN) 2024 /NATA 2024 can get admission.
- Native : Candidates should be a citizen of Bihar States.

Selection Procedure
- Selection procedure for admission to BE/BTech Courses will be done on the basis of JEE (Main)-2024 score
- In order to get admission in the above mentioned courses candidates have to fill the online application form and after that Board will release the selected candidates list at the official website
- On the basis of merit list seat allotment of all rounds of counselling will be done
