Diploma courses and 5 years Integrated Programs (M.A., M.Sc., M.B.A) offered by Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities

Eligibility Criteria
Faculty of Arts
- M.A. AIHCA: Any Graduate (except oriental) with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA)
- M.A. Arabic: Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA) with Arabic as one of the Language
- M.A. English: Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA) with English as one of the Language
- M.A. Hindi: Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA) with Hindi as one of the Languages and i) Must have obtained a minimum of 20 credits in Hindi.
- M.A. Kannada: Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA) with Kannada as one of the Language
- M.A. Marathi: Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA) with Marathi as one of the Language and i) Must have obtained a minimum of 20 credits in Marathi
- M.A. Persian: Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA) with Persian/Arabic/Urdu as one of the Languages.
- M.A. Sanskrit: Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA) with Sanskrit as one of the Language
- M.A. Telugu/Urdu: Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA) with Telugu as one of the Language
- M.A. Linguistics: A Graduate with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in B.A. / B.Sc./ B.Com. having studied any language for two years for a minimum of 200 marks (or 20 credits)
- M.A. Philosophy: Any B.A./B.Sc. /B.Com. Graduate (except oriental) with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA)
Faculty of Social Sciences
- M.A. Economics: Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with Economics subject as an optional and must have studied a minimum of 30 credits in Economics
- M.A.: Any Social Science Graduate with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA)
- M.A. History: Must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with History subject as an optional and must have studied a minimum of 30 credits in History
- Journalism & Mass Comm.: Any Graduate with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA).
- M.Lib.I.Sc: Any Graduate with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA).
- B.Lib.I.Sc: M.Li.I.Sc. (1 year)
- MSW: Any Graduate (except oriental) with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA)
Faculty of Commerce
- M.Com.: B.Com. Graduate with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA) (A pass in the qualifying exam is sufficient for SC / ST candidates)
Faculty of Education
- M.Ed.: B.Ed. Degree with 55% Marks (50% for SC/ST/BC candidates) (or equivalent CGPA)
- M.P.Ed.: B.P.Ed./B.P.E. with 55% Marks (50% for SC/ST/BC candidates) (or equivalent CGPA)
Faculty of Science
- M.Sc. Botany: Must have obtained a B.Sc Degree with Botany subject as an optional and must have studied a minimum of 30 credits in Botany
- M.Sc. Chemistry: Must have obtained a B.Sc Degree with Chemistry subject as an optional and must have studied a minimum of 30 credits in Chemistry
- M.Sc. Electronics: Must have obtained a B.Sc Degree with Electronics and Mathematics subjects as optional and must have studied a minimum of 30 credits in each
- M.Sc. Geography: B.A. with Geography or B.Sc. Graduate with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA)
- BCESFSGM: Must have studied Chemistry as one of the optional subjects in part-II at B.Sc. level.
- M.Sc. Nutrition & Dietetics: Must have studied Chemistry as one of the optional subjects in part-II at B.Sc. level.
- M.Sc. Psychology: B.A. with Psychology or B.Sc. Graduate with 40% marks (or equivalent CGPA)
Application Process
- Candidates who wish to sit for the CPGET 2023 entrance exam, there is a process is as follows:
- Candidates can register for CPGET 2023 by filling up the application form online which will be available on the official website www.ouadmissions.com or www.osmania.ac.in
Application Fee
- For SC/ST/PH – Rs.600/-
- For Others – Rs.800/-
- For each additional Subject – Rs.400/-
CPGET 2023 Exam Pattern
- Entrance tests in all the subjects will be of 90 minutes duration. The question paper consists of 100 objective (multiple choice only) type questions for 100 marks.
- Entrance test will consist of any 3 or 4 varieties of objective type items such as analogies, classification, matching, comprehension of a research study / experiment / theoretical point of view, etc., with multiple answers besides the usual multiple choice items
