The full form of CLAT is Common Law Admission Test. It is a national level Law entrance test which is conducted in order to grant admission into 21 National Law Universities (NLUs) for Undergraduate Law Programmes and Masters in Law Program. The test is held once a year in the month of May. The duration of this test is one hour. For UG courses, the candidate should have completed 12th from any recognised board. For LLM course, the candidate should have completed LLB. The duration of this test is two hours. The exam is held in English language. The exam was started in 2008. The questions are from various sections such as GK, Elementary Maths, Legal Aptitude, Legal Awareness, Current Affairs and Logical Reasoning.
