Michael was an inquisitive young boy. He liked to stay updated with technology and computers like his dad. He was extremely fascinated with his dad’s collection of gadgets and also enjoyed playing computer games. He displays his friendly and helpful nature when he saves Sebastian from falling into deep sleep. He never lost hope and was confident throughout, though he failed to save Sebastian in the third game. Michael was a kid with great mental strength and preservance. He was shocked to learn that the player Sebastian he had saved in the game, was a real person.
Virtually True Overview – Virtually True by Paul Stewart is a story about two boys who create miracles by interacting with each other without meeting and in a strange manner. Virtually True begins with an article in the newspaper as “Miracle Recovery” which is read by Michael. The article stated about the boy, Sebastian who recovered from coma despite being in a critical condition.

Sebastian Shultz was the main character of the story “Virtually True”. He was a brilliant minded person. He had been involved in a motorway accident. During the accident, he had been plugged into his computer and had banged his head against it. The accident left Sebastian in a coma. He never loses hope. He kept on trying until he got success. He had a polite nature. Sebastian had a thankful nature too. As when Michael succeeded in rescuing Sebastian’s memory from that psycho drive games, Sebastian had sent an email in which he had thanked Michael and also told Michael to keep those games with himself as a gift from him.

Michael’s Dad is nutty or crazy about computers and couldn’t resist buying new gadgets and gizmos that came into the market. He had the computer with the latest gadgetry available such as a Pentium 150 MHz processor complete with RAM, CD ROM, speakers, printers, modem and scanner. He had all the games: Tornado, MC Babash Black Belt etc. He had also brought the latest psycho-drive games and the virtual reality visor and gloves.
