CBSE Class 8 English Language and Literature Syllabus for Academic Session 2025
Syllabus for Class 8 English Language and Literature – The NCERT Class 8 English syllabus for 2025 is designed to improve students’ understanding of literature and language skills. It includes different activities and texts to help students enhance their reading, writing, and comprehension abilities. The syllabus also focuses on grammar, building vocabulary, and developing critical thinking. For the literature section, the CBSE has prescribed two books for Class 8 – Honeydrew and It So Happened. Both these books are published by the NCERT.
