It is an initiative of the JK Tyre, It is a socially responsible corporate committed to contributing to the well-being of communities, the JK Tyre Shiksha Sarthi Scholarship 2024 program, developed in partnership with TISS, stands as a testament to our emphasis on education initiatives. JK Tyre Shiksha Sarthi Scholarship 2024 is open for Girl Child of Drivers (with Heavy Motor Vehicle License) from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu

 

Overview of JK Tyre Shiksha Sarthi Scholarship

  • The JK Tyre Shiksha Sarthi Scholarship is introduced for students from all sectors like ITI, Undergraduate, B.E, B.Tech, Diploma, etc. The selected candidates will get scholarship amounts directly into their bank account via the DBT Method.
  • The scholarship amount for the JK Tyre Shiksha Sarthi Scholarship will vary from course to course
  • Through these initiatives JK Tyre seeks to make a meaningful impact on education, health, livelihoods, and water conservation to empower the local communities and integrating them into the mainstream of development. By supporting aspiring individuals in their pursuit of knowledge, we aim to contribute to the overall development of communities. This scholarship not only aligns with our core values but also reflects our commitment to creating a positive and lasting impact on society.

  • Specialized Courses – Rs. 25,000

 

Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate Students

  • The candidate should be a Girl Child only of Heavy Drivers. Applicants must enroll in Undergraduate courses such as: B.C.A, B.Sc, BBA, BBS, LLB, etc.
  • Candidates should enroll in Undergraduate courses from institutes recognized by AICTE/NAAC/UGC/Govt.
  • Applicants must score at least 60% marks in their 10th or 12th/Diploma courses.
  • The candidate should be a resident of Tamil Nadu or Karnataka.
  • Annual family income should be less than Rs. 5 lakh.

B.E/B.Tech Course

  • The candidate should be a Girl Child only of Heavy Drivers. Applicants must enroll in B.E/B.Tech Courses. Applicants must score at least 60% marks in their 10th, 12th standard or Diploma.
  • The candidate should be a resident of Tamil Nadu or Karnataka.
  • Annual family income should be less than Rs. 5 lakh.

B.Sc Nursing Course

  • The candidate should be a Girl Child only of Heavy Drivers. Applicants must enroll in B.Sc Nursing Courses. Applicants must score at least 60% marks in their 10th, or 12th standard or Diploma.
  • The candidate should be a resident of Tamil Nadu or Karnataka.
  • Annual family income should be less than Rs. 5 lakh.

Diploma Courses

  • The candidate should be a Girl Child only of Heavy Drivers. Applicants must enroll in Diploma, ANM, GNM Courses. Applicants must score at least 60% marks in their 10th standard.
  • The candidate should be a resident of Tamil Nadu or Karnataka.
  • Annual family income should be less than Rs. 5 lakh.

ITI Courses

  • The candidate should be a Girl Child only of Heavy Drivers. Applicants must enroll in ITI Courses. Applicants must score at least 60% marks in their 10th standard.
  • Candidate should be a resident of Tamil Nadu or Karnataka.
  • Annual family income should be less than Rs. 5 lakh.

Specialized Courses

  • The candidate should be a Girl Child only.
  • Applicants must enrol in Undergraduate courses such as: B.C.A, B.Sc, BBA, BBS, LLB, etc.
  • Candidates should enroll in Undergraduate courses from institutes recognized by AICTE/NAAC/UGC/Govt.
  • Applicants must score at least 60% marks in their 10th or 12th/Diploma courses.

  • First, candidates need to visit the Vidyasaarathi scholarship’s official website https://www.vidyasaarathi.co.in/
  • The home page will appear on your screen.
  • Here you need to click on “Apply for Scholarship” on the homepage.
  • A new page will now show up before you.
  • Here you need to click on the JK Tyre Shiksha Sarthi Scholarship.
  • On the Registration page fill in the required details and attach the relevant documents.

  5. Student Bank passbook/Kiosk
  6. Last academic year marksheet
  7. Current year fees receipts
  8. Admission Letter / Bona fide certificate from institute
  9. Latest College Marksheets (Except first year students)
  10. Heavy Motor Driving License of Father.

Selection Process
