UMANG Scholarship Program 2023 for Girls – Centre for Youth invites applications from Girls students of class 11 to Postgraduate level for Umang Scholarship Program 223. The Umang Scholarship Program, is a Crompton CSR endeavour dedicated to nurturing the educational dreams of deserving and meritorious young girls. Umang’s mission reaches deep into communities, bridging the gap in girls’ education through transformative scholarships. Scholarship Benefits

  • Centre for Youth (C4Y), the National Partner for Umang Scholarship Program is now accepting applications.
  1. Academic Fees: Admission, tuition, examination, coaching, and other fees
  2. Learning Material: Books, equipment’s, stationery and supplies
  3. Hostel & Mess Fees: Accommodation and mess charges
  4. Transportation: Charges for commuting to the institution
  5. Online Courses: Professional virtual courses
  • 200 Scholarships Up to ₹ 50,000 each

 

Important Dates

  • Early Bird Application Deadline: Saturday, September 30, 2023
  • Final Application Deadline: Tuesday, October 31, 2023

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • We invite applications from young girl students from class 11 to postgraduate levels, who meet the following eligibility criteria:
  1. Excellent academic performance
  2. Enrolled in accredited higher educational institutions in India
  3. Pursuing general or professional courses | Students of class 11th onwards
  4. Annual family income not more than ₹ 4 lakh
  5. Resident of Ahmednagar | Baddi, Solan | Padra, Vadodara | Ponda, Goa

Locations

  • The candidate should be the resident of one of the following regions:
  1. Ahmednagar
  2. Baddi, Solan
  3. Padra, Vadodara
  4. Ponda, Goa

 

Application Procedure

    • The scholarships will be considered on first-come-first-serve basis
    • The applicant must submit the complete ONLINE Application Form along with the mandatory documents or scan the QR code to fill in the application form
    • The decision of the Centre for Youth (C4Y), the National Implementation Partner for Umang Scholarship Program would be final ONLINE Application Form

Mandatory Documents

  • Applicants please ensure that all mandatory documents are attached as specified in the online application form.
  1. Identity & Residence Proof: Aadhaar Card/ Voter Card/ Driving License/ Electricity Bill/ Ration Card/ Postpaid Mobile Bill of the applicant and parent/ guardian
  2. Proof for Income: Issued by Employer/ Sarpanch/ Counsellor/ SDM/DM/CO/ Tehsildar/ Affidavit
  3. Mark Sheets: 10th, 12th and previous examination passed
  4. Current Year Admission Proof: Fee receipt/ Admission letter/ Institution ID card
  5. Endorsement from Educational Institution: Letter in support of the Application
  6. Photographs: Applicant and Parents/ Guardian
